Pressure-seal Y-Pattern globe valve is one-piece inclined globe and check valves which designed to meet the requirements of most customers under the most severe applications, such as superheated steam at very high temperature and pressure, feed water at high pressure, vent and drain at the typical conditions of supercritical cycles as well as applications in chemical plants under higher pressure, and also for petrochemical installations.

The Pressure-seal Y-Pattern globe valves include the following designs: Stop, Piston-Check, Manual Flow Control and Stop-Check. All designs, Piston-Check excepted, can be power actuated and can be furnished with a locking device in any position, including a pad-lock with key. Pressure-seal Y-Pattern globe valves allow probably less pressure drop,and the flow pattern in Y Globe valve is more "linear" .Secondly, height of the valve from its flow bores' center line till top of the hand wheel is less in Y Globe Valves. This gives compactness to Y Globe Valves - which is beneficial in pipings where space is a constraint.
