Pneumatic flange valve is the valve with compressed air. The body of the pneumatic flange valve is mainly made up by ductile iron and indicated the grade and the actual physical and chemical test data of the iron. The best material of the stem is stainless steel stem, even the large diameter valves should be embedded in the package of the stainless steel stem. Cast brass or cast aluminum bronze should be used as the material of nuts, whose hardness and strength are greater than the stem.  The hardness and strength of the stem bushing material shall be not greater than the stem and the electrochemical corrosion should not form when immersed in water conditions.

When the pneumatic valve is under operation, the opening and closing direction should all be clockwise closing, and the opening and closing rotation should not be too much, even the large diameter valve should be transferred within the 200 to 600. In order to be operated by one person, the maximum closing torque should be 240N-m, under the plumber pressure condition. The operation of it should be mortise and tenon and the size should be standard. It should be installed facing the grand so that it can be directly manipulated from the ground.
