A slow closing check valve is a mechanical device, a valve, which normally allows fluid (liquid or gas) to flow through it in only one direction. Slow closing check valves are two-port valves, meaning they have two openings in the body, one for fluid to enter and the other for fluid to leave.Slow closing check valve is made up of body, bonnet, disc and valve shaft. Cast steel casting, steel, rubber assembly and stainless steel are the main material. The nominal pressure of slow closing check valve is 1.0MPa, 1.6MPa and 2.5MPa. As for the shell test pressure, it is 1.5,MPa 2.4MPa and 3.75MPa. The sealed test pressure of slow closing check valve is 1.1MPa, 1.76MPa and 2.75MPa. The suitable temperature is below 80℃. Slow closing check valve is ideal for medium such as water. The diameter of slow closing check valve is DN20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 65, 80, 100, 125, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 600, 700, 800 mm.

Slow closing check valve is used on the pump outlet of a water supply system to prevent medium's back-flow, water hammer and water shock. It has three functions as an electric valve, check valve and water hammer remover. Slow closing check valve is capable of improving the safety and reliability of the water supply system effectively through integrating the technical principle of slow-open, speed valve, slow-close, and removing water hammer and preventing of both pump-starting and pump-stopping water hammer.
