A check valve is a valve used to maintain the flow of fluid in only one direction and prevent the reversal in piping system. The lasting flow of fluid in the forward direction can maintain the valve open and the back pressure of the fluid or the weight of the closing mechanism or a spring force can effectively close the valve.  Various fluid systems have adopted the check valve, such as the fluid system in chemical industry or in power station. A swing check valve is a check valve equipped with a movable disc which can stop the flow and swings which can stop the reverse flow. DIN F6 swing check valve can be widely used in petroleum industry and steam industry and so on. It can effectively guide the forward flow and prevent the reverse flow. It is fitted for the nominal pressure between PN1.6 to PN4.0Mpa. The working temperature of media including water, oil and gas should be regulated between -20 to 450 degrees centigrade. The forward flow can make the disc hinge upwards so as to maintain the smooth flow. Oppositely, the reverse flow can force the disc to shut against the seat so as to stop the fluid. The DIN F6 swing check valve can be operated by manual power or electric actuator. The design of the valve is in line with the standard of DIN3356, and the test and inspection are conducted based on the requirements of DIN3230.
