One Piece Thread Ball Valve

One piece thread ball valve has one-piece body and its connection part is a thread. A thread is a helical structure used to convert between rotational and linear movement, and is a ridge wrapped around a cylinder or cone in the form of a helix, with the former being called a straight thread and the latter one called a tapered thread. In most applications, in order that friction is sufficient to prevent linear motion being converted to rotary, the lead of a thread is chosen. This characteristic is essential to the vast majority of its uses. The tightening of a fastener's screw thread is comparable to driving a wedge into a gap until it sticks fast through friction and slight plastic deformation.Internal and external threads illustrated using a common nut and bolt. The screw and nut pair can be used to convert torque into linear force. 

One piece thread ball valve is inherently a high integrity valve. The number of leak paths to atmosphere is reduced to a minimum. Standard valves have a single body casting which can include the bonnet. Small valves with screwed connections can be manufactured by machining from a solid forging: internal access being gained through the bonnet and bottom flange when fitted. These valves will work in either direction but a good case can be made for using them in one particular way. If the seat which is fitted direcetly to the body is placed downstream all seat loads when closed are carred by casring. However the high pressure fluid is constantly exposed to the insert joint. If the valve is used in the other direction the closed seat load is carried by the insert.
