A forged steel floating ball valve is a floating ball valve that uses forged steel materical. Therefore, it inherits the features of floating ball valve as well as forged steel material. A floating ball valve is a valve with its ball floating inside the valve body, while a trunnion ball valve is fixed on its valve seat. A floating ball valve drifts toward to the downstream side and tightly pushes against the seat under the medium pressure to guarantee sealing reliability. The floating ball valve has simple structure, good sealing performance, however, the seat material is required to withstand the workload since the sealing pressure is exposed by the seat ring. Floating ball valve is mainly used in middle or low pressure working conditions, as it has unavailability of high performance seat material.
