Automatic drain valve is a standard valve with preassembled systems consisting of solenoid valve, timer and connector for time adjusted condensate discharge of tanker with compressed air, dryer and filters. It is made up of solenoid body, timer body, valve body and DIN connector. The materials of the automatic drain valve are nylon, ABS, brass and ABS.  As for the structure, it is shutoff. The pressure of the automatic drain valve is medium pressure. It is powered by pneumatic. The temperature of media for automatic drain valve is normal temperature. The automatic drain valve is ideal for the medium such as gas. Its port size is M16. This automatic drain valve is installed at the bottom of water cups for auto-chargers, air filters and air filter regulators and can auto discharge the condense water gather in the water cup. The automatic drain valve`s quality is reliable, and has very good sealing. It is used to provide a visual indication of leakage past a check valve and /or automatically drain of condensate in application such as fire department pumper connections to automatic sprinkler systems, fir pump flow meter or hose valve headers and dry standpipes.

The automatic drain valve replaces the manual drain valve on the bottom of the tank. It needs more space than the manual valve, and people may have to raise the tank to accommodate it. Mine sits on a couple of 4x4 blocks. The auto drainer is pressure actuated. It ejects tank condensation through a 1/4" NPT opening in the side of the valve each time air pressure is applied or removed from the small fitting on the end of it. The installation of the automatic drain valve is pretty simple. The automatic drain valve’s actuator is supposed to be connected via a plastic tube to either the "discharge line unloader" or the "combination tank check valve and discharge line unloader." Alternatively, the valve actuator line can be "teed" in line with the "vented pressure switch", the "pilot valve," or the "receiver pressure unloader."
