Aluminium ball valve

A ball valve is a valve equipped with a spherical disc which is used to regulate the flow of the fluids. Aluminium ball valve is the valve made of aluminium with a ball structure. It can be used to regularly control the flow of various fluids, and the power to operate it is usually hydraulic. In fact, the power to operate a valve can be manual, hydraulic, electric or pneumatic. Aluminium ball valve should be operated in high pressure and medium temperature of media. The structure is ball and the port size is 0.5"/0.75"/1".

The body of aluminium ball valve is generally made of forging aluminium, the bonnet and stem are made of brass, and seat ring can be made of PTFE. The surface finish is usually anodized. Aluminium ball valve is usually composed of aluminium body and iron ball, stem and handle. The operating principles of it are almost identical to those of other general ball valves. When the valve is opened, the port will be in line with the two ends, while when the valve is closed, the port will be perpendicular to the two ends. Aluminium is insoluble in various fluids like alcohol, so the suitable media for aluminium ball valve are rather diverse. The pure aluminium can only support strength between 7 to 11 Mpa, and the aluminium alloys can support strength between 200 to 600 Mpa.

Therefore, the valve is generally made of aluminium alloys to improve the intensity. At the same time, aluminium ball valve has strong resistance to corrosion and has strong conductivity for heat. In addition, particular parts of aluminium ball valve can be made by the manufacturers according to the specific requirements of the clients.
