ANSI Ball Valve is used for heavy duty industrial applications. Valve shall be two piece “split body” design. Seats and seals shall be RTFE material, with Viton O-ring body seal. Seats shall provide both upstream and downstream bubbletight seal and be adjustable for in-line wear. Stem packing shall be live loaded RTFE material.

Valve handle shall be 300 series stainless steel with optional pad locking device allowing valve to pad locked in the open or closed position. Body bolts and nuts shall be 18-8 stainless steel. Maximum working pressure to be as material is rated for 150# flanges to and full vacuum. Valves shall be 100% tested per ASME / ANSI B16.34. Valves shall be non-fire safe design unless otherwise specified. Ball valves shall have female NPT type fittings and shall be 1/2 to 2-inch (15 to 50-mm) line and ball sizes. The valves shall have a forged brass body, nickel-plated brass ball, and EPDM O-ring seals. Valves may contain a glass-filled polymer flow optimizer to provide a modified equal percentage control characteristic.
